MY RECOMMENDATION FOR THINGS CAN I DO IN MY

The city is a residential area that is physically represented by a collection of houses that dominate the spatial plan and has a range of facilities to support the lives of its citizens independently. City of differentiated contrast of a village or town by size, population density, importance, or legal status. Village or commune is dominated by open land is not a settlement.

I am a village boy who came from districts galing Sambas regency in West borneo. Sambas city is geographically located almost in the middle of the district of Sambas. The man who first opened and developed the City of Sambas was Sultan Muhammad Tajuddin I (Raden Bima, the Sultan of Sambas to-2) that in about the year 1683 AD the city's development started from Sambas Sultanate center formerly located right at the intersection groove Sambas River, Red River and Subah River. Sambas regency formed today is the result of splitting the district in 2000.

I would recommend to my city is to utilize natural resources and its human resources for the city of Sambas have a very wide area and the people who crowded. so the city Sambas a city that is rich in natural resources and can help the Indonesian economy. And I also recommend Sambas city as a tourist city that has a history of great empire or palace.

1. BLOOD SWEAT TEARS

BLOOD SWEAT TEARS means it is full of struggle and hard work in doing a difficult job.

2. READ HIS MIND.

READ SOMEONE LIKE A BOOK which means it is read someone's mind.

Example:

George and I have been friends for a long, long time, so even though he made no comment, i could read his mind, he was uncomfortable and wanted to leave the party early.

Once familiar idiom here also explained about the pronunciation of the idiom. In the idiom pronunciation here we must first understand a person and can read someone's mind.

Food is a substance, usually originates from animals or plants, which are eaten by living things obtain energy and nutrients. The liquid that is used for this purpose is often called the drinks. The food that humans need is usually obtained from farming or gardening that includes a source of animals and plants. Some people refuse to eat foods from animals such as meat, eggs, and others.

For me food is very important because without eating or drinking we will die of hunger, of course, for me the food was good and lawful. For me the food I choose as my last meal on earth is to eat of which comes from my own area, namely the spicy porridge.

     

Spicy porridge is porridge dish tradisioal of the  in Sambas, West Kalimantan district. Previously spicy porridge is served in the kingdom, and merupan strong cultural reflection in the Malay kingdom. Spicy porridge made of rice in finely crushed in oseng and rich in spices and vegetables and fried peanuts and anchovies do not be surprised if this slurry on the full nutritional value.

Spicy porridge stall easily found in shops, as well as when Ramadan comes. spicy porridge is indeed unique, without adding condiment, we will not feel the spicy at all, instead tend textured savory and fresh. Certainly better when eaten while still warm.

That's the reason I chose pureed spicy as the food I choose. So that I can write about the food I choose.

Each person must have its own targets and expectations that he wants to accomplish in the future but it all requires a process that is not easy to reach it all. This letter is a letter as my hopes and my dreams would I want to achieve weeks to myself in the future of its 10-year right to come

For the target in myself insyallah I will work hard and always pray to finish college three and a half years and a maximum of four years, and after a degree I would be looking for full-time jobs, and I hope I can take the magister degree while working

.

For 10 years will come insyallah I wish I had become a successful, famous, working in large companies, can make my parents proud, and be beneficial for many. It is a hope for me to work harder again to reach all future goals that I want. Hopefully what all my dreams will come true.

My favorite place when I travel frequently is a beach holiday. I've been to the beach when a long vacation. The beach is where a geographical form that consists of sand, and there is a sea in coastal areas. The beach area became the boundary between land and sea. The length of the coastline is measured circles the entire coast is an area of the territorial state.

My reason for going to the beach is because the coast we can freely express will. As for freedom, your relaxation, not about the prison with the times and rules, wedding jog, screaming ,sing, cry, or anything as I like. SUBJECT VERB AGREEMENT

Subject is the person/people/thing(s) that do the activity.

I, you, they, we, she, he, it, my dad and my mom, Linda, Sussi, Linda and Sussi, the bank, the flight schedule, etc.

Verb is a word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence, and forming the main part of the predicate of a sentence.

Kinds of VERB

1. ACTION VERBS

Action verbs ( MAIN VERB ) are words that express action (give, eat, walk, etc.) or possession (have, own, etc.). transitive form (with object) or transitive (without object).

Example:

1.       Laurissa raises her hand. (kkt)

2.       Abdus gave Becky the pencil. (kkt)

3.       Laurissa rises slowly from her seat. (kki)

2. LINKING VERBS

A linking verb connects the subject of a sentence to a noun or adjective that renames or describes the subject.

·         To Be: is, am, are, was, were

Example:

Ø  Lisa is in love with Jason.

Ø  We were there!

Ø  I am happy

·         Verb: seem, appear, become, grow, remain, get, prove, turn, look, sound, smell, taste, feel.

Example:

Ø  She looks pale.

Ø  I feel happy

Ø  That sounds great!

3. HELPING VERBS

Helping verbs are used before action or linking verbs to convey additional information regarding aspects of possibility (can, could, etc.) or time (was, did, has, etc.)

MODALS always function as Helping Verbs ( can, could, may, might, shall, will, ought to, should, would )

Examples:

1. Tejo is (helping verb) going (main verb) to Florida.
2. The trip might (helping verb) be (main verb) dangerous.
3. Janine will drive to Idaho tomorrow. (Will helps the main verb, drive.)

1. Subjects and verbs must agree in number. This is the cornerstone rule that forms the background of the concept.

Examples:

·      The dog growls when it is angry.

·      The dogs growl when they are angry.

2. Don’t get confused by the words that come between the subject and verb; they do not affect agreement.

Examples:

·      The dog, who is chewing on my jeans, is usually very good.

3. Prepositional phrases between the subject and verb usually do not affect

agreement.

Examples:

·      The colors of the rainbow are beautiful.

4. When sentences start with “there” or “here,” the subject will always be placed

after the verb, so care needs to be taken to identify it correctly.

Examples:

·      There is a problem with the balance sheet. Here are the papers you requested.

5. If two subjects are joined by and, they typically require a plural verb form.

Examples:

·      The cow and the pig are jumping over the moon.

6. The verb is singular if the two subjects separated by and refer to the same

person or thing.

Examples:

·      Red beans and rice is my mom's favorite dish.

7. If one of the words each, every, or no comes before the subject, the verb is

singular.

Examples:

·      No smoking or drinking is allowed.

·      Every man and woman is required to check in.

8. If the subjects are both singular and are connected by the words or, nor,

neither/nor, either/or, and not only/but also the verb is singular.

Examples:

·      Jessica or Christian is to blame for the accident.

9. The only time when the object of the preposition decides plural or singular verb forms is when noun and pronoun subjects like some, half, none, more, all, etc. are followed by a prepositional phrase. In these sentences, the object of the preposition determines the form of the verb.

Examples:

·      All of the chicken is gone.

·      All of the chickens are gone.

10. The singular verb form is usually used for units of measurement or time.

Examples:

·      Four quarts of oil was required to get the car running.

11. If the subjects are both plural and are connected by the words or, nor, neither/nor, either/or, and not only/but also, the verb is plural.

Examples:

·      Dogs and cats are both available at the pound.

12. If one subject is singular and one plural and the words are connected by the words or, nor, neither/nor, either/or, and not only/but also, you use the verb form of the subject that is nearest the verb.

Examples:

·      Either the bears or the lion has escaped from the zoo.

·      Neither the lion nor the bears have escaped from the zoo.

13. Indefinite pronouns (everything, anything, everyone, someone, somebody, nothing, etc) typically take singular verbs.

Examples:

·      Everybody wants to be loved.

·      Everything is gonna be alright.

14. Except for the pronouns (few, many, several, both, all, some) that always take the plural form.

Examples:

·      Few were left alive after the flood.

·      Several students understand the material.       

15. If two infinitives are separated by and they take the plural form of the verb.

Examples:

·      To walk and to chew gum require great skill.

16. When gerunds are used as the subject of a sentence, they take the singular verb

form of the verb; but, when they are linked by and, they take the plural form.

Examples:

·      Standing in the water was a bad idea.

·      Swimming in the ocean and playing drums are my hobbies.

17. Collective nouns like family, committee, herd, senate, class, crowd, etc. usually take a singular verb form.

Examples:

·      The herd is stampeding.

·      Cooper family always attends the annual party.

18. Titles of books, movies, novels, etc. are treated as singular and take a singular

verb.

Examples:

·      The Burbs is a movie starring Tom Hanks.

·      Harry Potter has reached Top 3 Best Seller books.
